I realize it is only October and not even Halloween yet, but I wonder what nativity sets you recommend for kids.

DD is 4.5 and we do have the FP Little People set but I think maybe it's time for a slightly older version.

TIA!

We also have the FP Little People Set, but this year will be adding the Playmobil Nativity...

We have a Woodland Fantasies set but I find that a little delicate for playing with, especially with my boys who are very hard with their toys. I'm thinking of getting the Playmobil nativity set this year.

We have the Woodland Fantasies and the Haba. Both are beautiful. If I had to choose one it would be the Haba. It's sturdy and beautiful. http://www.blueberryforest.com/haba_toys/haba-nativity-set-1175.htm

Ostheimer and Holztiger sets are gorgeous. Haba is cute. The Fontanini sets are kid safe but not "child-like". We have the the FP Little people one and the Playmobile one (but that one isn't coming out this year). I'd like to start collecting the Ostheimer and Holztiger pieces for the girls.

We had a fabric "rag doll" one by Precious Moments when I was a kid that I loved.

But, sadly, they do not make it anymore and I believe that ours was a casualty of my parents' divorce.

Last yr at 5.5 J was still playing with the Little People set and we added to it. Starting Catholic K may have helped this a bit.
