I thought I posted this yesterday, but can't find it now. We currently store all our costumes in a cardboard box because we have no room in the closet. DS dresses up daily so I'm wondering if others have a cute way of storing costumes (a trunk?).

my friend handed down this little tikes toy box and its perfect. It holds alot of stuff and I love that I can just throw everything back into the box when cleaning up. I do have a couple of nicer dress up dresses and those get hung up on command performance hooks in the closet.

I have two plastic drawers that stack on top of each other, inside DD's closet. I got them from Target. They are like these:

You can add more as you get more stuff. I am trying to keep our dress up stuff limited to the two drawers, though.

I found an old suitcase at a thrift shop...the kids love the latches on it. Our dress up collection has grown and it doesn't all fit in the one suitcase anylonger...so the rest gets tossed in a basket.

I put a tension rod in a narrow bookshelf (at child height). The shoes go under the dresses. If you had room for a shelf still you could do hats on a top shelf. I also put little hooks on the side of the shelf for bags. The random accessories are in a cute little box I found somewhere (Tuesday Morning? can't remember).

In our new house we have a large playroom in the basement. I got one of those rolling clothes racks at Target and put all of DD's dress up clothes on there. She LOVES it! The one I got is height adjustable, so she can reach it.
