My niece will be turning 6 this December. We are thinking of buying her the Melissa and Doug puppet theater. Is she too old for it already? I've noticed in other threads that people seem to be buying puppet theaters for 3-4 year olds.
What do you think?

I think 6 years old is a good age for being able to perform puppet shows independently. The trouble is the size of many theaters are really small. I'm not familar with Melissa and Doug's but I would check the dimensions. We outgrew our puppet theater and now the kids use the back of the sofa or a table as their stage.

I think 6 would be great. I'm looking for a table-top easel for my 3.5 yr old who has loads of puppets and loves them. Don't think we can fit the M&D one in our tiny apt. Hope Amazon.com has some deals for Xmas!
