price match + coupon

Has anyone been able to do a price match at Bed bath and Beyond, and then applied the 20% off coupon? What's the procedure?

So - they will only match bricks and mortar stores at least here in Boston MA. Here's what I did - I was looking for a Britax Marathon. I price matched the tan swirl to a local baby shop for $199 and then used my 20% off coupon to bring them down plus I got FS. The total came to just about $150 each. So essentially I got 2 for 1. PM me if you'd like more details. Where are you from? I've also gotten them to stack BRU/TRU copuons with the 20% off sometimes too - depends on the employee, the store.

Yeah I've done this for a razor for DH...told them Target had the same model and gave them my coupon and got a price match with a coupon. It was nice!

I did this w/ the deal on the Frontier carseat Amazon was running a month or two ago. I brought in the printout and they agreed to match the price. After the manager agreed to, I pulled out a 20% off coupon and noted it did not exclude Britax. He didn't really say anything although I don't think he was thrilled. Some people asked for free shipping (since Amazon was offering that w/ their deal) and got it, but I was hesitant to push my luck (manager seemed kinda overwhelmed and had to manually override in the computer, then had some snafu and lost all my info and had to re-enter it all, etc.).

I know during that same deal some people found the BB&B managers in their area said they would not price match Amazon as it wasn't a direct competitor or because they were not a B&M store.

BuyBuyBaby said it has to be in a store flyer, not just on the website. However, when I said the flyer was at home, they went to the web to check it AND called the store when we couldn't find it online. Come to find out, the item wasn't on sale for 2 more days, lol. They were ambitious to PM, though. Our BBBaby is new and has few customers, so they have time to do stuff like that! But, they said I could PM and use either the mfr. coupon OR the BBB coupon, whichever gives you the biggest savings, but not both.

I want to try it with both coupons though, just to see what happens.

Sooooo, I called CS and asked if they would do a price match and they said yes, but only with a store that also has a B&M store. Then I asked them if they would do it with Kohl's, and they said yes. But they would do it for the regular price, and not the sales price. When I asked her if Kohl's coupon (30% off) is considered sales price, she said yes, and so they wouldn't price match...sigh...I was really looking forward to buying the Fagor Duo Combi pressure cooker at $100 (approx) and then apply the 20% off coupon I got in my email...any suggestions out there???
