Our daughter will be 19 months when #2 arrives. I sold myself on the Vista when she was born because of the Rumble Seat. Now, I'm rethinking...
Our newborn will only have the option of riding in the carseat with the adapter. That's ok for quick trips, but what about neighborhood walks and long days out? I think we need a real, side-by-side double.
Ideally I want to be able to put our newborn in a bassinet (which I LOVED using for our first with the Vista) and have our toddler ride in a regular seat. But, if we have this new double in the car, what if the newborn is sleeping and we want to keep him/her in the carseat? We need an adapter for the Chicco KeyFit, and we know those are hard to come by. OR, do I just keep the Vista in the car- use the rumble seat and the car seat -and the double for neighborhood use and switch that to the car when we know it's going to be a long day/not ok to keep newborn in carseat?
What are my best options?

baby jogger city elite double- reclines flat and huge tall seats for even taller kids....your newborn can lay flat in the seat while toddler can sit straight up. i love mine :)

I like SBS doubles much better than rumble seats/toddler seats because both children can ride comfortably and be protected from the elements. A SBS double is your best bet for neighborhood walks and such. Just have an umbrella stroller and a baby carrier in the car. It is a great combo and that way your LO does not spend too much time in the car seat which is not advisable. I am anti car-seat adapter. :hysterical: Just use a fully reclined seat in the SBS double and a snuzzler.
