I have an email in to them to clarify where it says that the friend must order within 6 months. Does that mean that credits aren't posted until 6 months are up?

Recommend a friend - enter your details

* Recommend some friends who are new to Boden and you could receive a thank you worth $25! You can recommend up to four friends a month; that's potentially $100 a month* credit.

Fill in the form below and we'll send your friends a lovely, free catalogue to browse through at their leisure. Please note that it could take a few weeks for your credit to appear on your account. * Terms & Conditions
* We are unable to provide credit to any one customer for more than four referrals in one month. Months are calculated on a calendar basis.
* To qualify for $25 credit;
All names must not already be on our database
All names must not be registered on the DMA Pander File (www.the-dma.org/index.php)
A referral must place their first order with us within 6 months of referral
* We can provide credit only for new referrals who are 18-years old or older. A new referral is defined as someone who has never shopped at bodenusa.com or through the Boden catalogue, and is not currently listed in any of our databases. If an individual has already been referred to us by another customer, credit cannot be given for subsequent referrals by other customers.
* We check the validity of all postal addresses given and will provide credit only for valid addresses that do not currently appear on our databases
* Credits for converted referrals will be issued on the 10th of each calendar month, covering the previous calendar month. Please allow up to a month for credits to show.
* There is no cash alternative for referrals.

UPDATE:

Here is the scoop. Whoever you refer must place an order within 6 months and be a new customer. If they order you will receive $25 in credit.

Sooooo....quite different from what it used to be. But I do understand it...it seemed too good to be true before. My son has a closet full of "Free" boden shirts.
