I was browsing the other thread on kids books, and decided to look for books for me! I think this is a great cook book, and a good deal. I just made the banana bread recipe the other day (yum!), and DD has no idea that it has cauliflower in it.

Eligible for prime and FSSS.

I was going to say that I've seen it at Ollie's for maybe about $7, so it might be worth checking out some discount stores before getting it on amazon.

Yes, yes! I use mine often, so I don't feel too bad that I paid near full price for it!

do you? what are your favorite recipes? which would you say avoid? that's pretty much why i haven't used it yet...i heard the recipes are hit or miss and i hate to put time into a recipe that could be gross.

I don't follow the recipes exactly but I have added squash & sweet potato to pancakes and also to Mac & Cheese and it works! Also adding carrots to tomato sauce wasn't bad. I haven't tried any of the complicated stuff yet.

FWIW, I've stopped using the book as I just dump in purees in dishes that seem like they can "handle" them. Also, I don't puree myslef anymore. I just use baby food...it's pureed for you!
