FR85 and harness height adjustment

Does anyone know if I need to adjust the harness height on a FR85 before installation? Can I do it after it has been installed? I don't think I can, but I thought I would ask here.

The handle to raise the harness up and down is on the back of the seat. Some folks with super-low seatbacks can do it, the rest of us need to plop the kid in the seat prior to installing and put it in the notch at or a little above where they are (they lose some room in the car usually, so best to err on the side of 'seems too high' in the house so you don't have to take it out and raise it as soon as you put it in the car).
My friend's super super tall heavy 6 yo had about two inches to grow till she was in the top slot in this seat yesterday, I think it's great you waited for this new, taller model! (And it's amazingly lighter and easier to install than the old model, it's really a winner, I think, so far!)
