DD is PT but wears a pull up overnight still (occasionally has a dry night, not usually though). Anyway, 2 nights in a row she has leaked out of the back of the waist of the pull up (and gotten her jammie top all wet). This has never happened before. If she wets the bed it's from leakage below, not above. Anyone experienced this with the overnight pullups? Do I go a size bigger or what? Is there a size bigger-I can't remember as DS is in the larger underjam things which I are way to big for DD.

Most people use Huggies Overnight pulls ups. Have you tried those? My son has worn them for a long time and never went through it. They are sized based on weight. If you do a search you will see lots of discussion about them.

That is what DD is currently wearing an overnight pullup by huggies. She is in the 3T-4T which is supposed to go to 40 lbs. DD is 35 lbs. She has always gone up a size in diapeter/pullup before reaching the max weight. I sent DH out to get a 4t-5T. I for some reason thought they were made. If not, I don't know what to do b/c the underjam and goodnights s/m is 38/65 lbs I believe. I think those would be way to large for DD. HOWEVER, DS wears the goodnites s/m. He is 40 lbs but the regular pullups don't fit over his rear well and he would leak like crazy at night. I'm wondering if I should just move DD to the goodnites.....

Huggies Pull Ups run small. We have never used the "overnight pull ups" though just regular pull ups and they are fine. We just use regular Pampers Pull Ups and DD is fine in a size 5 in those. I too think that the Underjams in a small medium would be just way too big too.

Yeah, I think I need somethin in between. I can't let her do a regular pull up at night. When she wakes up her pull up is HUGE. She does not consistently wake up to use the bathroom at night yet. OYE....

Could you try some diaper doubler inserts in the regular pull up?

I don't think the overnight ones do, but the regular pullups come in 4T-5T. You might try one of those and see if it would work. I don't know how much more absorbant the nighttime ones are - the regular 4/5 are more absorbant than a regular 3/4, though.

Is there another brand of diaper doubler inserts? They used to sell the diaper doubler brand around me but all the stores just stopped carrying them about 1.5 yrs ago (I used to use them in DD's diapers in between going up a size). Are they available online?

We used to use these:
http://www.amazon.com/Depend-Boost-Inserts-Six-20-Count/dp/B000FFFGSG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1269985511&sr=8-1

I found them to be much better than the diaper doublers and it was hard to find either the doublers or Depend inserts in a B&M store but I had them on Subscribe and Save through Amazon.

DS was/is a huge overnight wetter and I used to use those inside a Huggies Overnite with a CD waterproof cover on top and he was *usually* dry in the morning. FWIW we used Huggies overnites size 6 (not pull ups) for a long long time. He is very big for his age but they were seriously the only thing that worked. Right now he's in a S/M Underjam and those did fit even when he was technically under the weight limit.

Thanks for the info on the depends inserts. I will look for those. In the mean time, tonight DD is wearing an overnight huggies pullup under a regular huggies pullup that is a size larger. I hope this works. I have a box of extra daytime pullups that we are not longer using. If it works I will use these up before moving to the depends inserts.

Huggies overnights do come in a 4T-5T...DS wears them. HTH. Rite Aid and Target are the only places we can ever find them.

Man....my Target NEVER has them. I'm going to try another Target a little further away. But, so far the doubling of the pullups has worked.

My Target doesn't even have a spot for them, only the daytime ones. You'd think they would make more bigger sizes for nighttime, as most kids need those much longer than the daytime ones. I guess they figure they'll move to the Goodnights or Underjams. But there is a size gap between the Pull-Ups 2T-3T and the older kids' smallest size.

The 3T-4T worked well (we skipped right over the 2T-3T b/c DD had a growth spurt). I'm bummed that I still cannot find the 4T-5T. Occasionally Costco would have them--I remember seeing them (daytime box mixed with some nighttime ones). They, of course, do not have any right now (just the daytime ones at my costco).

Tomorrow I'm off to another Target to search. Poor DD has a really large tush with 2 pullups and her pj's on. It's kinda funny looking...

I jinxed myself...didn't find them last time I went to either store. :(
