My FIL is scheduled for surgery today in an attempt to begin to correct part of the problem that caused his 5 month hospital stay last year. Today is the simplest of the 3 procedures, but they have to get his heart stabilized before they can do either of the bigger ones which are to follow.
If you could spare some P&PT for him, and especially for MIL who is just one big huge ball of nerves and anxiety, I'd really appreciate it. I have the feeling that this state of anxiety over FIL's health will only continue - he is 83, and MIL and DH really need to be able to find some peace in how they approach their day-to-day. We are only now finding out how dependant MIL is on FIL and it's quite scary.
