After having the Elite single for a about a year now I am wondering if I'd be able to "deal" with the Mini double? Specifically, will I be able to get over my love of those magnetic closures, the uber comfy looking footrest when DD naps, and the ride I get on grassy /bumpy terrain?

Will exchanging those things I adore for a better ride in malls (My Elite has always had issues turning on smooth flooring...even after an exchange and it gets somewhat annoying at times), hopefully no longer getting stuck on those darn back wheel spokes in door frames, and of course a huge weight difference (I do feel the single feels a bit bulky at times at it's what "only" 26lbs?) if you compare doubles to doubles?

Baby Boy is due in a month and we haven't even started talking about doubles yet, arrrggghhh!!! lol (I do have an Ergo in the interium while we decide, I think that's why I've been putting it off.)

Congrats on your upcoming arrival!! I love our BJCED, but you may find the mini is good enough for your non-bumpy stuff. The jump seat may come in really handy, although I've never tried it. I prefer the ED to the MD, so I keep that in my car. Maybe with the MD, I got it out more, though..hmmmm...
