BJCM--keeping it closed for storage/transport

I can never seem to squeeze the 2 halves of the BJCM together tightly enough to close the latch for storage/transport. I'd really like to flip it upside down after closing so that I can rest it on the two hinges (like feet)...any other ideas as to how I can keep it closed? I was thinking one of those bungee straps...maybe?

i remember reading here that some people use bungee cords to hold it closed while traveling.

sometimes mine doesn't close all the way. i realized recently that the front wheel spins around and causes this. if you twist the wheel, it will allow you to lock the latch more easily. not sure if that's the prob, but thought i would post my btdt. hth.
