We had the pampers swaddlers w/out dry max in the hospital and at home (I bought a small package before DD was born) and I loved them. Now we are out of them and using the Huggies equivalent (Not sure what it is called - little something). I really don't like the Huggies compared to the Swaddlers. But I am not going to even try the Swaddlers w/drymax.

What brands have you found that is comparable to Swaddlers? I tried to sift through the threads on Drymax. I am 11 days in with this little one and don't have a ton of time or brain power, so please forgive me if this is a repeat post.

This is what I think I found re: similarities:

Huggies :: Kirkland/Costco :: Up and Up

Any ideas on what to try next? Thank you!

The softness of the original Swaddlers is very similiar to the Huggies Pure and Natural. As far as other brands, I have no idea. A lot of people here like the Costco/Kirkland brand diapers a lot, so you might try those. Good luck finding a replacement!

I don't think the Kirkland diapers are exactly like Swaddlers, but we really like them and disliked Huggies. We might switch when we finish off our supply of swaddlers, if P&G doesn't do something about drymax before then (I have 4 cases to use up though).

The Huggies Pure and Natural are definitely the ones that come closest to the Swaddlers in terms of softness. I would try that one next if I were you.

ty! will go with the huggies pure and natural and give huggies 1 last shot before making the leap to costco!

I prefer Huggies Pure & Natural to Pampers anyway ... unscented, no Elmo and cottony-soft!

My DD wore them in the NB size exclusively until she had 3 blowouts in a row that told me she was ready to size up to size 1s.

Earth's best diapers are awesome and the newborn size has a liner like the swaddlers.

If you don't want to try the Dry Max (we've had no problems with them, but I prefer the old kind...they were way softer and less saggy), you could try the Pampers Baby Dry (cheaper than Swaddlers/Cruisers). They don't have dry max, as far as I know, and they seem to work well.

I have never had any luck with any Huggies with either child (girl and boy).

I also used to like Luvs. Haven't tried them lately though (this was about 5 years ago).

When DS was younger, we used Target brand diapers. -- They have since changed to up andup and I don't know if they are as good or not. About size 4, they stopped working for us and now we use Huggies (Huggies have always worked, but I avoided the expense as long as I could) and CVS brand diapers.

I've used huggies snug and dry for about 5 months now and love them. They aren't identical to the swaddlers but they work for us. Up and Up are ok but I perfer the huggies. I got a free sample of the pure and natural and wasn't all that impressed.

I just ordered Pampers Sensitive Swaddlers (w/o Drymax) at amazon.com. We're going to try that before going the Huggies or Kirkland route.
