We're primarily a Pampers family but anything to save a few buck now that we have two in diapers. So what's your favorite store brand diaper?

We have used Up & Up and didn't have any problems with them, but we use Huggies now and when I combine sales with coupons, I get pricing down to about 13 cents a diaper for size 3s.

I've heard lots of good things about Kirkland dipes. (Cosco). Unfortunately I'm not a member and the Cosco is not convenient to me. Has anyone heard how the BJ's diapers are?
I have tried two generics. Nanny's diapers which are sold by Aldi's. They have clifford on them. I am not a big fan- they were very thick, and the velcro didn't seem to catch well. When DS was a newborn I got some White Cloud from walmart on Clearance, unfortunately they were discontinued.
ETA- If you count LUVS as a generic- they are great!

I'm another Up&Up fan. They do a good job. I had bought them on a whim with a coupon and haven't looked back since.

Luvs and Huggies are fantastic. They are not generic, but with coupons and sales, they many times work out to generic prices or better. Sign up on their websites to get mailer and online coupons. I have stocked up on them and paid less than Kirkland and Target prices. You just have to hit the right sale/coupon combo.

See, I'm a huge & devoted Pampers fan (DD's in size 4 Baby Dry; I don't care for the Cruisers), and I don't like the cheaper brands I've tried. Granted, it's just Up & Up, Huggies, and some other random supermarket brands when we were on vacation. But they all get really 'clumpy;' Pampers is the only one that stays nice and soft when wet. I would be willing to try more brands but I'd rather get free samples; I'm too cheap to buy a package and then try it and hate it! :wink2: I really wish I were o.k. with the cheaper brands, but I do my best to use coupons and get them from BRU/ TRU when there's a good promotion (gift card or certain amount off w/a certain purchase).
However, I may need to rethink things this fall, as I'll have two in diapers then, too.

Kirkland (Costco) Brand! I do have a huge stash of Cottontails diapers from Giant that I love & got on clearance when they changed the packaging last summer - I don't know if they are the same currently.

We use Kirkland brand from Costco for overnight diapers, and Target Up&Up during the day. No complaints for either.

We've used CVS diaps when there was a good sale on them once, and we really liked them. Most of the time we use Kirkland and really like those too.

Kirklands were the only "generics' that worked for us, although I wouldn't really call them such, as they're made by huggies and as good, or better than huggies. 4 years ago, when I tried Target's and BRU brand, both leaked up the back horribly. Maybe they've added back elastic since then. Oh, when I lived near a BJ's, I also liked BJ's dipes and wipes.

I don't think the Kirklands are made by Huggies anymore. A few years ago the Costco Connection had an article about how Kirkland had spent so much time and effort creating its own diaper and how proud they were to debut their own product.
We use Kirkland most of the time. I'll buy Huggies if I get a Costco coupon for them. But usually the coupon requires a purchase of diapers and wipes, and I don't want Huggies wipes.
A few weeks ago I had a coupon for $5 off Kirkland dipes. I used it twice b/c two boxes was all we could store.
I thought DD was ready to move on, but she has regressed. Sometimes I'll put her in a Pull-Up, but she is no longer making an effort to stay dry. :(

Love the up and up. I've had zero problems with them. I was just given a pack of pampers and I really didn't see a difference.

:yeahthat: We generally use Pampers during the day (though I got a bunch of huggies on sale at CVS, so looks like we're doing Huggies during the day) and Up and Up at night (in a size bigger). No problems. Haven't tried them during the day. Kirkland were fine, but at my costco they weren't really much cheaper than Huggies or Pampers (maybe $2).
I just bought the CVS brand for nighttime because they were $3.99 a pack after bucks back, but haven't tried them yet... (they have a waistband like huggies)...

Another Up & Up fan here. I've only used Swaddlers & Cruisers previously, but heard good things about the Target brand and decided to try them. I like them just as much, if not more, than the Pampers.

We use Walgreens diapers with no problems, but they run small so you might need to size up. We've also used CVS diapers, and like those too.

I like Kirkland Signature (Costco). I do not like Up&Up, we tried them once and they leaked, something about the fit just didn't work for us. We use cloth at home and only buy disposables when we travel, and after the Up&Up were so awful, we went back to Huggies Naturals. (Which I know aren't really natural, but they are unscented.) Anyway, if we used more than a pack a trip, we'd buy the Kirkland, but as it is, we wouldn't use them up.
(I've worked in daycare and so I've diapered several different children with the Kirkland dipes.)

Do any of the generics come in unscented varieties?
We just cleared DD's diaper rash by switching from Pampers to Huggies Pure & Natural, so I'm trying to rule out what the cause of the rash was ... not to mention that the scented dipes give me insane headaches, so I'd rather not use scented dipes!!!

We just got BJs wipes and they were SO rough!!!

Once kiddos have solid poops, it opens up the world of generic dipes:) We've had good luck with Up & Up (some packs have the elastic in back, and some don't. It hasn't mattered to us since poops are solid). We also use Kirklands, which is a good diaper for runny poop (as long as you change promptly). Though nothing is better than cloth diapers for runny poop. I do agree that by using coupons/watching sales you can get huggies or other name brands for cheaper than Kirklands. For a "generic" I think Kirklands quality is comparable to name brands. I hate pampers or any other scented dipe.

Really like the Target Up & Up diapers. Don't use alot of sposies since we CD most of the time so I don't want to deal with coupons so I've bought lots of generics. The Target ones have been my favorite.

Big fan of Kirkland diapers but HATE their new wipes.
Since CVS was having a great sale on dipes ($2.37 per package) I stocked up on those and so far we really like them..I hope I got enough to last til the baby is potty-trained!
I also got the CVS nighttime pullups ($3.99) and they are GREAT! My boy hasnt leaked out of them one time:yay:.
And I cant forget the Huggies I got @ CVS for $2+ after coupons and the Pamper wipes that were 75% off...Love when they do new packaging, can get some incredible deals!
CVS was also having a big clearance on their CVS wipes and so far we like them as well.

We liked Walgreens premium generic diapers. Sometimes Walgreens would have them at super discounts, combinable with their in store promotions/coupons.

Walgreen's, CVS and Member's Mark (Sam's Club) are our favs for disposbles. I don't even buy Huggies (hate Pampers and Luvs, they are annoying dipes) unless they are a really awesome deal. I actually prefer the generics to the name brand.
