Cloth Laundry re: Prewash of Diapers

I recently started doing cloth again with my daughter (13 months). She's currently in prefolds, but I ordered some Flip to try and a Thirsties Fab Fitted. My question is can I prewash the Fab fitted, the flip diapers and bum genius stay dry liners in the same wash? Also, for those of you who use Flip diapers, do you prewash the covers and dry them? I know to hang them once they are used.

I use only flats and fitted as of now. So my routine for prewash is a cold water soak with vinegar and bacout for about 3 hours. I put only the fitted and prefolds and wipes in the prewash, i.e nothing with pull since I use vinegar in the prewash. After this I do a main hot water wash with Charlies and a little oxyclean with everthing in it - prefolds, fitted, wipes and the covers. I don't do any extra rinses after this.

My routine
- Start the prewash soak in the evening when I get home from work
- Start the rinse before I sleep
- Add the soap and the covers to the wash and start a hot soak for the night
- In the morning when I get up start the wash cycle
- After breakfast when the wash is done, line dry the dipes before I start for work.

The soak really helps to get the stink out of the dipes. We also use family cloth which gets added to the prewash soak and my family cloth has no stains or stink of anything. Beautiful clean dipes everytime.

for pre-washes, i think the rule of thumb is to separate natural fibers from synthetic fibers, so if you have any hemp or bamboo inserts or anything, it's best to prewash those separately (3-4 times, even, on hot with dries in between), because the oils need to be washed out so they won't coat surfaces. after the pre-wash, everything can be washed together.

I prewash everything, not just diapers. So yes, I did wash my Flip covers before using them. I did a cold cycle followed by a hot cycle. I'm not sure what material the Fab Fitted is, but I washed my Flip covers and inserts all together.
