Nothing super close to me but maybe you will luck out! Even if you have seen these movies it's fun to go to the theater and see them again....for free!

We have 2 theaters close to us doing this. I wonder how crazy it is there.

Thanks for posting the link. Has anyone seen Wallace and Gromit? Is it appropriate for a four-year-old?

My kids love Wallace & Grommit. There is some slapstick violence, but nothing too bad. We did some of these free movies last year, and it wasn't too crowded. I love free stuff!

Just wondering how this works - do they play the 2 movies back to back, or are they playing in 2 theaters?

Thanks!! I forget about this every summer!

They play in different theaters at the same time.

I'm taking the kids tomorrow to see Charlotte's Web. Hopefully it won't be too chaotic!

My DH, and two DDs went today and everything seemed to go wrong -- the movie started @ 15 minutes late, then they switched the theaters (so everyone in the G movie saw the first few minutes of PG and vice versa), so they came in and said they would switch the movies...10 more minutes pass...no, can't do that...everyone needs to move, if they want to see correct movie...15 more minutes pass....right movie begins...10 more minutes....movie shuts off!
Oy!
We left!
Athough it was "free" ($12 in soda and popcorn for DH and me), it wasn't a great experience.
Although...DD, who is 2, had her first movie experiece and loved it! And, I think we might try again another day and see if it's better - I mean how much can you complain about a free movie? - but I am sneaking in some snacks next time!

Oh my gosh that stinks. What was up with those people? I may actually call the theater and ask what the deal was today especially if you want to go back.

We have had really good experiences with ours the past couple of years. Not too chaotic. I agree that the snacks are way pricey!

The Carmike Theaters do $1.00 movie, $1 popcorn and $1 drinks if you have one of those theaters in town. The do shows on Tuesday only.

That's where the baby diaper comes in handy -wink wink- for hiding snacks LOL
