DS has been teething for the past month or so. He really likes it when I take a wet washcloth, and rub his itchy gums for him. While I was doing this last night, I felt some bumps by the back of his mouth, so I took a peak into his mouth and was shocked at what I saw! There were little white dots along the back of his gums!!! Last night he woke up twice crying... we finally took him out of his crib and brought him into bed with us. This seems so unusual, since everyone always says that bottom teeth come first, then top teeth, and THEN molars. Please tell me this is normal! I'm sitting here waiting for the pediatrician's office to open.

Nope.. they can come in any order. Ive seen kiddos with canines come first They look like baby vampires. 2 of mine got top teeth first.

So, we finally went to the pediatrician for our check-up, and it turns out that they're calcifications... yea, I'm a FTM, and I totally over-reacted. :bag

Nothing wrong with wanting to be sure your baby is OK. :)
