How to care for a scrapes on the face?

This weekend, poor DD fell off a picnic bench when we were trying to take group pics during a playdate. Didn't knock out a tooth or anything but she did scrape up her face and chin.

What's the best way to treat it to prevent scarring? Just neosporin?

neosporin for a few days and then just keep the scabs moist with a nice coating of Aquaphor for a few more days.
