Baby jogger website says that the city select is 53 inches long in doubles mode. Does anyone know if that is in the longest possible configuration (handlebar to front seat in rear recline I would guess)? Or, can someone who owns a city select measure what it is from handle bar to front seat (in either position) in doubles mode? would be greatly appreciated. Trying to compare it to my current singles stroller to get an idea of the extra length.
-Thanks.

I own it. I measured it the best I could and with the bottom/front-most seat rear facing with the canopy on the highest slot (on this slot the top part of the canopy is about 4-5in beyond the top of the seat back) and the seat fully reclined (it lays basically flat) it measures about 55in. The handlebar extends a few inches beyond the rear wheels.

That said, we've been using ours since DD2 was about 5mos and we usually have/had her on the top-most seat and DD1 on the bottom seat. So we really never have the bottom seat in full recline...DD1 is usually pretty upright.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
