Would you put a 58lb dc in a stroller with a 55lb weight limit? Dd1 twisted her ankle and we are heading to a place where there will be a lot of walking this weekend. It's a Mac Triumph.
The only other option is pulling her in a wagon.

Have you tried pushing her in it? It might be kind of hard to push, maneuver, etc. If it seems OK, go for it. But I'd probably go for the wagon myself.

I think it depends on how much you trust the stroller. I have never owned a Mac so I don't know how sturdy/well-built they are. If we were talking about my Mountain Buggy, I"d say yes, absolutely in a heart beat. 3lbs over, imho, won't really make that much of a difference.

Yes, I'd do it. I'd probably go light on the extra gear to carry. SQ said weight limits are just artificial or something like that.
We routinely play stack-a-baby in our Macs/BJCD models and break the rules. We have to do it to get back to the car safely.
Sorry about your DD's ankle!

Yes. Heck, my almost 70 pound 9 year old can still ride in our Mac. :ROTFLMAO:

My 40lbs DD rides in our 35 lbs Chicco without a problem.

Yes. Weight limits are artificial to a certain extent and I would not hesitate to go a few pounds over.

We just took our P3 to San Diego with us. My 5 yr old is 60lbs and his little buddy rode on the rear foot step ... she is probably around 45-50 lbs.... it was heavy to push but it handled it just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to put your kiddo in the Mac!
