I haven't ordered from Vistaprint before, but I just received something in the mail w/ regards to a special savings of 20 5x7 Holiday cards for $1.99 (they usually start at $24.99). There are also 20 4x8 Christmas photo cards for $1.99. Not sure how the shipping rates are, but you can see their website (below) for further details.
For more info: http://www.vistaprint.com/holiday-cards.aspx?GP=11%2f9%2f2010+6%3a45%3a56+PM&GPS=1361545442&GNF=0&rd=2 I'm not sure how the quality of Vistaprint is... if anyone has experience ordering from there, can you please post your positive/negative feedback? Thank you.

yup ;). I'm hoping that the quality of the Vistaprint cards is relatively good! I haven't ordered from there before. I know that I like the quality of Shutterfly cards & Costco photo cards that I've ordered in the past.

I don't think that there's a special code - I just got an advertisement insert in the mail today. The holiday cards are the ones that are on-sale: http://www.vistaprint.com/holiday-cards.aspx?GP=11%2f9%2f2010+8%3a26%3a37+PM&GPS=1361555708&GNF=1. They start at $1.99.
Hope this helps!

I got an email from ebates & it lists Vistaprint as a vendor giving 5% cashback currently with an ad that states 50% off holiday cards. Do you subscribe to ebates? Maybe you can go through that website and click on the Vistaprint link to get the discounted holiday card prices. I'm not sure why some of you are seeing the discounted prices and others aren't.

I did a quick google search, and found the following blog that also gives a link to the special holiday prices: http://yourretailhelper.blogspot.com/2010/11/vista-print-20-christmas-holiday-cards.html. Hopefully one of the options works out for you. HTH.

Any idea when the deal ends? I probably need to get some decent pics taken before I can order :/
We actually just placed an order through Vistaprint for photo Christmas cards on Oct. 30. The image looked stretched in our preview, so we called and asked about it. They sent us a proof that looked fine. So, we put in an order of 50 cards. The cards were only about $13 for 50 (the $3.99 per 10), but for 7 day shipping it was about $10. When we received the cards, the image was stretched.
We called and they were willing to send us a different card free of charge with 3 day rush shipping included. We went with the same card that had a vertical setting instead of horizontal, and it seems to be fine. I should get the new cards any day now.
Overall, I was happy with their customer service. It seems that the photo quality is better with Shutterfly. I have had great experiences with Vistaprint on other projects without photos. It is turning out to be a good experience this time, but it isn't the best.

I have used Vistaprint for business cards and they turned out okay -- I am not sure about this deal, but they seemed to have fairly high shipping (@$7 or so), and they also seem to tack on charges for little things, such as adding your own photo, versus using a stock pic, typing on both sides, nicer paper, etc. When you add in all the extras, plus the extra cards you might need...and...
the shipping is also pretty slow....
Another good/better deal might be Costco:
6x7½ photo greeting cards
It's fun and easy to create your own photo greeting card.
Many new designs including multi-image format.
Add your own personalized message.
4 calendar cards included with first set of 50 greeting cards
1 calendar card included with each additional set of 25 greeting cards
Envelopes (6” x 8 1/8”) included – require only one postage stamp
$14.99 set of 50
$5.49 additional sets of 25

thank you for your input about VistaPoint's quality and the info about how it tends to have additional fees.
thank you also for the reminder about Costco's great deal on photo cards. I've ordered the set of 50 cards in the past and I was satisfied with the quality. I'm thinking about going with Costco again this year... I haven't made up my mind yet.

I did Costco's photo cards a few years ago and was quite happy. It's probably the route I am going this year too. I've only had one calendar from Costco that I haven't been happy with.

I just noticed that my coupon booklet from Costco also has $5 off their holiday cards, making the total $10 for a set of 50, which seems like a good deal to me. The coupon is valid 11/11 to 11/28.

I have not ordered anything from vistaprint w/photos but I did recently order business cards. I was happy w/the quality and especially the price. I did the "slow shipping" that is supposed to be 21 days but it "only" took 2 weeks instead. (also read on another blog that they commonly ship in 1-2 wks even if you choose slow shipping) not worth paying extra to rush the shipping IMO if you can plan ahead.
I do agree that they seem to nickle and dime you.... I think that's how they get people to their site, with the super low prices. It's almost like a bait and switch b/c you get there and then you add on all these little extras. I think the shipping prices are ridiculous (I think it was $10-15 for the business cards??) for what is considered normal shipping for other companies....but since I chose the slow shipping I think it was only $5 or so.
all of that said, I still got a really good deal b/c I did not opt to have any extras added on and I did not get the rush shipping....so overall I am happy w/my order there.

Just got our Vista Print Christmas card order and I'm really happy with how they turned out. I got the 5 x 7 flat cards and they are on almost a card stock, not flimsy photo paper, which I like. They have more weight to them. I paid around $30 for 100 and the pictures (3 small ones) are crystal clear.
Just to follow up to my earlier post. Vistaprint came through nicely on the reorder of my cards. They photo quality is good and the turnaround time was 3 days.
