Rite Aid has Discovery Kids Moon (like Uncle Milton Moon in My Room) for $7.99 this week (until 11/20). Does anyone have the Discovery Kids version or has anyone seen both in person so they can compare?

No advice but I am going to keep an eye on this as our Moon in My Room just stopped working last week (after a year). I have contacted customer support to see about getting a new remote to see if that is this issue. This might be a good replacement if they can't help.

Just a quick q... How bright is the glow? Ds2 won't sleep unless we leave the closet light on.... Looking to save on our electric bill!

Cool... my 5 year old will love this! I might get him the digital coin counting bank too.

Not sure about this brand but the Uncle Milton version only stays on for 30minutes and then autos off. Not sure if it would completely replace a nightlight if you child needs it on all night.

arg. ours died, too and I would buy a 'cheap' new one...
but...they don't appear to be sold online & we don't have Riteaids... bummer.

I didn't know there were 2 versions. We got ours at Target and are very happy with it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the exact same product, packaged differently.
