I usually get sweaters from Polo and have them wear them with cords.
BTW, DS1 is LOVING his Mini Boden tartan cargos. Thanks for all the advice. DH does not like them but we don't care! :jammin:

Got DS his holiday outfits from Crazy 8, the first time I've purchased anything there. Love their red holiday sweater with the faux tie sewed onto it! Also, got him a vest/collared shirt from there as well.

Haha...I don't think DH will like them much either, but like you said, who cares!! :ROTFLMAO: Which colors did you end up getting? I love the gray plaid one! DS also has a pair from last year that he will finally fit into soon.

We have the blue plaid one. I wish I had gotten another pair! Maybe at the end of season sale. DS1 says they are "super comfy". LOL.

How do they run? Also how do the ls polo shirts run (if you know). DSs are BIG. DS1 is in a size 7 Land's End and a size 6/7 MB. DS2 is in a 4 in most things, a 5-6 in Mini Boden.
THANKS!

Well, I couldn't find anything I liked so I went to Ebay. Found some Janie and Jack NWT that I think will work well.
For George, I have this:

and Liam is wearing this with Khaki cords

I may go for one more dressier outfit, but I figured this is pretty festive and still comfy.

I usually size up hillview - especially for tops. DS1 who currently will be 4 in early Dec and is 42 inches tall wears 5 tops and pants in Mini-Boden and wears 5 and 6 in Polo tops. He is long and lean. I believe he currently wears size 4T jeans though so the jeans are more TTS.

BTW, I have been able to get a lot of Polo items on discount at Macy's. HTH.

I have Hable Construction holiday sweaters that I got from Garnet Hill a while back... I bought them on clearance so they were about $15 each. I got a snowman one and a polar bear one in different sizes so DS 1 and DS2 can wear them together without being too matchy-matchy.

DS has a few outfits, since (a) we see the same people repeatedly over the hoildays and (b) he's kind of a messy, crazy guy these days. He's wearing grey Boden tartan cargos with a solid Crewcuts rollneck sweater for one round, a red Hartstrings sweater (from Costco) with navy and grey argyle, with grey finewale cords for another, and then a light tan fisherman cable sweater with burgandy/tan/navy/green button down and navy pants.
He wore the red sweater outfit for his holiday pics, since the others don't really scream "Christmas", but I figured we'd get more wear out of them that way.

Last yr, I bought janie and jackie train sweater vests for my boys. They will probably wear them with a turtle neck or collared shirt with khakis. Sweater vests are boring, but easy to find for boys.

ds will probably be in a button down from Tea or Baby Gap with baby gap skinny or straight jeans.

My oldest has a black suit from a wedding he was in this summer. He'll wear that, a white shirt and a red tie from J&J that is not on the website anymore for church.
My younger son will wear black cords, a white shirt, the same tie, and this sweater for church.

After church, we'll lose the tie and DS1 will get to put on the same sweater/cords instead of the suit.
They have outfits for Christmas Eve from Hanna. DS2 is wearing a hand me down version and DS1 has this sweater...

and they both have white turtlenecks and these pants
