Which Smartwool socks to get my dad?

There are lots of choices on Amazon, and I really don't know which ones to get him! Any recommendations? He's not really an outdoorsy guy, though he does hunt, so he could wear some for hunting, I suppose. Otherwise just a nice 'intoductory' pair would be good. :) Something neutral, size L, that could get here in time for Christmas (I have Prime ;)).

What would you suggest?

No help on the type of socks to get but be sure to check Sierra Trading Post. They have some good deals on wool socks, including Smartwool.
