DS is 7 months and really doesn't like riding in the car at night. I'm looking for some kind of light that I can put in the backseat that will be safe for him (won't come loose and hit him in an accident). I have a baby mirror that I love but i'm willing to switch it for a lighted mirror if need be. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

We use a 4'' round LED light you push to turn on. I know it's not expensive, but DH picked it up so I'll have to ask him. It's most likely from Lowe's:)

walmart sells them too. We had a lighted mirror. Now DS loves his tiny flashlight. We also have conga drums that light up when you play them. He really likes that but unless you have earplugs...

not sure why these are marked for only front facing travel but I would get one of these.

We had an old Kick n play piano that we strapped into the car when my boys were rear facing. they loved making music with their feet and the lights at night.

I would guess it is because they could be distracting to the driver if attached for a rear facing baby to play with?

We attached a small flashlight on a strap to the headrest (just looped around) to provide some light when it was needed.
