BJCED and honda Accord trunk?

Just starting to look for double stroller for my DD who is 2 and DS who is 3 months. Looking for the spring. We are trying to figure out if we can get away with buying only one stroller for in and out of car and for long walks on bumpy sidewalks. Would like air filler or foam tires for the walks so looking at something like the baby jogger city elite double. Will the BJCED fit in a honda accord '05 trunk? Should we get a used double maclaren for in and out of car? my friend is selling a twin traveler for $120 which i think we should buy, but hubby would like to have only one double stroller. any thoughts? any favorites for walks on bumpy sidewalks? would like a stroller with large unseat storage too for walks. Thanks!

BJCED fits in the trunk of DH's 2001 Accord just fine. I think it goes in a little backwards - like the handholds go in toward the back seat and the canopies are on the floor of the trunk, but it definitely fits. I think we can even fit a mac in there as well.
