I could see that with heels, boots, sandals, etc. It seems very versatile. I don't have it but like it!

Sorry. Don't have it but I love the color and cut. I think it would be very flattering and easy to wear.

I really like it. Boots, flip flops, jewelry, no jewelry...
Thanks! I'm debating color. And some other items. . . .

Ok, you have to go to the Athleta store on Fillmore at Sacramento. I tried on that first dress you linked to and I'm sure they have the others as well. The Nectar dress was very cute (although I didn't get it) but I thought this (http://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=46838&vid=1&pid=734927) Radiant dress (which is similar and on sale in some colors) was even cuter. Much to my surprise, after trying on every dress in the store, I got this (http://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=46838&vid=1&pid=819722) Hawi hoodie dress (in dark blue), which is very flattering on me and does not look like a cover-up at all! I am going to get this (http://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=46838&vid=1&pid=819782) summer dress in blue when it goes on sale - SO cute. (I went to the store intending to get this (http://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=709945) dress, but it looked super baggy on me, which is why I'm recommending going in store!) Had I ordered online I would have gotten the wrong size - I ended up needing to size down on Athleta. And don't get the Tall size unless you are over 5'9" - the dresses are longish.
If you don't feel like going down to the store (it is such a fun shop; I highly recommend it!) then they have free returns on orders placed before Jan 31, and free ship on everything over $50, which is pretty much everything. Oh, and you can use your Gap credits towards Athleta, which is how the $80 dress cost me $60. :) Can you tell I love this brand?
It does sound like fun. And it might be worth it since I have several things in mind. It's just a bit of a challenge. Much easier to order online.

Oh, this dress totally caught my eye. I really like it, and imagine it would be very flattering. I will probably bite the bullet in a few months though, when the weather starts getting warmer here. With the free shippng/returns, you can't really lose. gl!

I have a version of this dress in a print from last summer. It is very flattering. The reviews mention a diagonal seam that is more noticed in a solid color. That wouldn't stop me from getting one of these new colors. They look great.

Oh, how does it fit? Big, small?
And what does everyone think, Bermuda blue or the cargo brush print?

I guess it depends on your coloring- I would look totally washed out in the lighter color. But, I like the cargo brush a bit better than the bermuda blue.

The blue would probably look better on me for the same reason. I have dark hair, pale blue eyes and really pale skin. But I like the cargo brush and it seems like a print might be more flattering. And I think that color is very in for spring. . . . I'd rather not get the other print as it is described as navy and I have mostly black shoes, sweaters, jackets, etc.

I just ordered a few workout things today because of this. No more free returns starting Feb. 1st :(

What?! Darn it. I feel like I just found out about Athleta- but I cannot pay for shipping (I find that I always need to return at least one item in my order). I guess I won't be shopping there anymore (and I had my eye on the skort everyone talks about!). bummer.
Well, I ordered the nectar dress in the Bermuda blue (dh agreed the cargo brush would not be good on me), the whatever skort in the khakini and a cami with shelf bra.
Thanks for the feedback!

Well, after reading about the free shipping ending Feb 1st, I hightailed it over to Athleta.com and bought a few skorts and 2 nectar dresses (solid colors). Thanks for the heads up!
crl, good luck with your choices!

Should be a great color for spring!

Well the free shipping was rather slow. My stuff just got here yesterday.
But I love the dress. It is very flattering and form fitting without being tight. The blue is a great color. The fabric is a bit more casual in feel than I was expecting for some reason, but it is just fine for my intended uses. I really like it!
The skort is fine. I don't like the material as much as the cord, but it is okay. The khakini is a dark khaki.
The cami with shelf bra is great! Fits me well compared to the teenybopper ones that are too snug in the stomach.
Thank you all!
Catherine
I just tried on the nectar dress I ordered (in black tall) and I :heartbeat: it!! Fits fantastic! I also bought the nectar dress in the mermaid green color. I will be returning that one because the black hides my imperfections a wee bit better. I am a lazy gal, and don't want to wear a foundation to smooth everything out. To me, that defeats my dress and go philosophy :o.
I also bought a few Whatever skorts (in tall sizes) and really like them. I am keeping the black and khakina. I bought the asphalt color, but I feel the khaki and black colors will be enough. I initially thought the contrast stitching on the black would turn me off, but I think it will add some interest to my outfits (I tend to stick to basic colors and stay away from prints, which is boring, I know).
Anyway, I just wanted to update. I love that feeling of finding clothes that fit just right!
Thanks for starting this thread crl! You have great taste, lol.
