This tastes yucky

For the last week or so, everything DS puts in his mouth he says "this tastes yucky". Even things like milk and apple juice which he loves. Should I be concerned about anything? The child is excessively finnicky, but this us really unusual.

Has he had a cold? I once had an MRI because things started tasting funny. Turns out it was just a sinus related something due to a cold. It righted itself after a few weeks.

Yes, we have all had colds. I wondered if that might be what was going on, but he's never said this before, so it was just kind of strange.

Yeah, with me, apple juice and cereals really tasted weird. Other things too, but those were the biggies. I threw away an entire container of apple juice because it tasted like metal. Then, when cereal also tasted funny, I had my husband taste it before throwing that away too!
