I am looking for nice burp clothes to monogram for a friend. My mom has an embroidery machine that I can use so I just need plain burp cloths. I have some Gerber flannel ones that I used with my son that held up really well but I don't like the patterns they have out right now.

TIA

The Gerber premium prefolds are nice if you can find them. They seem to be out of stock at my BRU all of the time.

I agree - we use cloth diapers for burp cloths. They are so absorbent and large enough to actually cover your shoulder. You can embellish them with some fun fabric (anything YOU choose!) then monogram them. I see them all the time at fairs for lots of money.

Here's one of many tutorials:

DH bought these at a local baby boutique and they are really nice. You could even put the gift package back together with the sheep on top after monogramming.

ETA: IIRC, gymboree has some nice ones too
