View Full Version : Can you still buy an original iPad anywhere?

I see the iPad 2 on the Apple site, but is there still any way you can get an original iPad?

My grandmother really wants one (yes, my 72 year old grandma, isn't that funny?) and so I'm trying to get the family to go in together on one for Mother's Day, but some people are whining about the price. So I thought an original iPad might be cheaper.

Have you looked at the refurbs at Apple.com. They are just like new and there are usually some deals available.

You can also do a search on slick deals for iPad. A while ago there was a big discussion about verizon stores selling the iPad 16 gb wifi for $299. I am sure those are all sold out now, but other deals might come up in the future.

You might want to try the Verizon store...a while back they were clearing out the old ones...I don't know the full details but it was posted on slickdeals when the 2nd one was announced....it's a long shot. I know Target also still has the older ones as well.
