Help me out please! :)
What would be good asking prices for these items?
Good DVDs (not obscure titles)
Kids clothes (sleepers, brand new coats, brand new snowsuit, tops/onesies, pants)
Thanks!

Well, I've only had one yard sale, but we did pretty well. The DVD's maybe 3$.
As for the baby clothes, this is how I priced (and almost all of it sold- and the clothes were used) .25 for tops/pants/onesies(in great condition), .75 for fleece sleepers, coats and snowsuits 5$ (mine didn't sell- could be the warmer weather and people didn't need that stuff now). Basically, no one bought anything NWT that was priced higher (but still way cheap), all my .25-.75 stuff sold.
I used this website to help with my yardsale. hth

DVDs- $3
sleepers- $1 if good brand, .50 if average brand,
brand new coats- $3-$5 depending on brand
brand new snowsuit- sorry, not much experience with these, probably same as coats.
tops/onesies- .50 or $1 if great brands
Hope the yardsale goes well. I'm starting to gather things for one myself.

Not sure what to sell some of your items at, but things tend to sell cheaper at garage sales. I would list your stuff on craigslist under a garage sale - itemize what you are selling and the prices. You might increase your traffic.
Also, I am not sure where you live, but i have always had great luck selling coats on craigslist. I have even shipped coats to other states.

At my last garage sale DVDs at $3 didn't do so well...but $2 or 2 for $5 might do better.
As for clothes you don't get much....coats anywhere from $4-6. Sleepers $1 or less. Pants $0.75...better brands for $1 or $1.50.

I wouldn't buy a DVD for $3 at a yard sale because it might be scratched or damaged (not saying yours are). My price point for NEW DVDs in generally $5-7 on sale, but I generally buy Blu Rays these days. For used DVDs I might take a gamble on a title I wanted for $2, maximum.
Sleepers 50 cents
Brand new coats and snowsuit (depending on brand) $2-$7...I would price these at 25% of what I paid for a yard sale.
Tops $1 depending on brand. I assume we're not talking Hanna or Boden ;)
Onesies 25 to 50 cents
Pants $2

Wow, timely thread as we're gearing up for a yard sale too! What would you all price for winter hats and mittens? Gymbo and Gap?
Stride rite sandals?
Target sandals?

For used clothing, I have always heard that 10% of retail price is a good guideline - 15% if it is a high end brand or something else remarkable about it.
I shop at garage sales, and I might pay $2-$4 for a coat or snowpants.

I always go for about 10% of retail, like the pp. Up to 15-20% if it is an exceptional, in-demand item that people will snatch up. If it is something that you want to get more than that for, I would sell it elsewhere- consignment, Craigslist, eBay.
