I just bought my 10 month old daughter 7 pairs of 2 piece short gymmies size 12-18 months. I put a pair on her last night and they seem to fit well, but I'm worried about how they'll fit after washing and drying! She's 21 lbs and 29 inches. Does anyone have any experience with shrinking and/or sizing with the pj's?
Thanks!!!

Some people complain that the Gymmies run small. I have only bought them from the outlet (and people have complained about the outlet merchandise being in it's own world) and I got them in a 3 and while they are snug DD1 who is now 5 (and wears a 5 in Gymbo shirts, but could probably still do a 4T or 4 in jeans or leggings or a 5S in jeans) still wears them and the top doesn't look too small. I did buy her two night gowns in a 2T when she was 2/1/2 and those ran small. I think I would probably return them and get the next size bigger. My DD2 is the same size as your DD and that's what I would do.

I always buy a size up in Gymmies...they definitely run tighter and smaller than their regular clothes.

Okay, very good to know! Mine had no 18-24 mo gymmies on sale so I guess I will be searching for another Gymbo close by! Do y'all put them in the dryer or lay flat? I hate it when I buy things for her and they shrink a little with each wash!!! Thank you so much for the info!!!

Things like jammies and play clothes go in the dryer....nicer dresses, tights etc I hang.

Definitely size 1-2 sizes up. DS has been wearing size 4 gymmies since he was 2yo. If the sleeve or pants are too long, it's easy to roll them up. We put all sleepwear in the dryer.

I'm a little late to post, but I have found that the gymmies run really small and shrink a lot. DS is 6 yrs, but I am now buying him size 8. He is only 42 lbs, but the bottoms still stay on him and the tops are still surprisingly snug. I put them in the dryer...

DS is 32 inches and 23 lbs. He can still fit in last years 12-18 gymmies and fits in the 18-24s no problem.

My DD who is 3 wears a size 18-24 months at Gymboree but a size 3 in the jammies. I always buy big with jammies so that they will last longer.

My DD is 11 months and 18 pounds and the 12-18 fit her without room to grow!
