The lack of privacy observed at Walgreens today!

I was looking for insect bite stuff along the back wall and the tech at the counter tells this man "your prescription for Cialas requires pre authorization so it's not covered unless you want to wait until we get approval, do you want to wait or just pay for it now?"....I counted at least 3 of us who turned, mostly a gut reaction....guess what the silver haired fox decided.....











He paid cash of course!

So much for the HIPPA privacy and the "please stay back until called" like 3 feet of air creates a privacy bubble!

When I used to work at my parents' pharmacy many, many years ago, when Viagra was shiny and new, the number of older gentlemen from town who proudly came to purchase their pharmaceutical assistance without embarassment was astounding. They were not embarassed at all...I, on the other hand, a teenage girl with too much imagination, was mortified. Good for them and the man in Walgreens for getting their groove (s?) on!
