OMG, this story line with Tim Riggins is KILLING me. Like wrenching my heart out. I was near tears at the season opener - and that was only a glimpse of him.
I am so sad this is the last season. :(

Yes, it's one of my all time favorites! I so wish that there were more episodes!

I am watching it. I am sad it's the last season also and I am not motivated to watch it much because of that (I guess I am in denial), but it's still good, and I need my Kyle Chandler fix. Tim Riggins comes back again, I haven't finished watching last Fridays episode yet, but he makes an appearance.

I just finished watching Friday's last night. :) Yes, Tim does come back, and he seems to be on next week too.
It's just he's so different now. He tried to protect his brother and it just takes the life out of him. <sniffle> Can you tell I am one of those girls who would have totally fallen for Tim in HS??? :love-retry: LOL.
Also (POTENTIAL SPOILER, depending on how much you've seen of last week's)....
I think now that Coach has said he's staying, that Tammy is going to get an offer somewhere!

I watched the whole season already since we have Direct TV. Direct TV televised it during the winter/early spring I think. I am so upset that the series ended. I think it was a good one! Sorry to see it end.

I can't bring myself to watch it yet until the season is over and I can watch it all at once.
I thought I saw in previews that several of the old characters come back...Lyla and Matt were the two main ones.

I JUST started watching the series on Netflix instant streaming, so I've just gotten through Season 1 and am a few episodes into Season 2. O. M. G. I LOOOOVE this show!!! I actually didn't realize they were still airing, I thought the series was over. I had to skim these posts to avoid any spoilers because I'm so far behind, but at the rate I've been going, I'll be caught up in no time! I love that it on instant Netflix, but the only problem is that there's no one to talk with about it. (DH is so busy with work he never has time to hang out, so this is my thing for relaxing down time alone.) Love it!!!

It is over. It was actually taken off the air once, brought back, and the LAST two seasons were aired on Showtime (?) before it aired on NBC. This season will be the series finale.

Yah, it was on Dish network. One of my friends already saw the whole thing on there, so she knows how it all ends. She is being good not telling me! Wait, or bad... hmmmm. ;)
I think I started watching mid-season 2, I really need to go back and watch season 1. I saw the first couple of episodes of season 1 (how Street was hurt and how Lyla and Tim came to be).
<spoilers ahead, sorry - I need to talk to someone!!!>
Street is one of the people they brought back this season, I was happy to see him married, successful, and happy!

I love this show, and I'm so sad that it's ending! I really think it's one of the best shows on TV and adore Eric and Tami as a couple...I mean, as a couple of TV characters :). I can't wait to see where everyone ends up--I been trying to avoid spoilers so I don't know anything yet about how it ends.
Spoiler alert!!
I wasn't sure if the "combining East and West Dillion's programs" issue is going to be their way to give Coach Taylor an out to leave, since he'd already kind of announced that he was staying? I also love the idea mentioned above that Tami gets a fabulous offer from somewhere and the family goes where SHE ends up.

Just finished watching the series finale. I watched all 5 seasons. Loved it and am sad to see it go. Now I need to find a new series to watch.
