Hello! A few carseats questions on the B-Ready that I can't seem to find answers for elsewhere:

1) Is it compatible with a standard Graco Snugride 22? Can one be jerry-rigged on?
2) I noticed that the B-Ready can support a carseat on the bottom. Is this ONLY if you have a Britax carseat? Can I use the universal carseat adapter on the bottom? Will it face both ways?

Thanks!

1. No, not compatible with snugride 22. Jerry-rigged? I don't know about with thr adapter but it does for snugly down in the seat on the top seat with bar removed and seat fully reclined. It also fits well on the bottom seat with it fully reclined. Not manufacturer recommended of course but could work for quick in and out. Britax also sells straps that are for the chaperone to use with other strollers. I would use those also. I've got pics somewhere if you want me to fig them up.

2. From what I understand if you want to use a different car seat on the bottom you can but you have to buy 2 adapters. The lower adapter and the "other manufacturer" adapter.

I'm pretty sure you can use the Graco but you have to buy the universal adapter.

For the bottom, you need: http://www.amazon.com/Britax-B-Ready-Lower-Infant-Adapter/dp/B003OGVAGA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1313668557&sr=8-3

These are both for non-Britax seats. The stroller itself comes with Britax adapters.

So what you are saying is you remove the belly bar on the top seat and shove the Snugride 22 on it with no adapter? And on the bottom you just rest it on top of the seat and strap it down? If you can find the pics, I would love to see them. I think I am more of a visual kind of person.

Thanks! I read those reviews today and it sounds like they all have the larger Graco, which is compatible. Seems ridiculous, as the Snugride 22 is probably the best selling Graco carseat on the market and the one that EVERYONE tries to be compatible with. You'd think Britax would make theirs compatible somehow too!

Ok, not ideal or recommended but doable...

I also used these straps to secure it

Hth. It sits down in there really nicely. Again not ideal but doable. Just as a side not, I ended up getting thr chaperone and using that. I found one on clearance and needed a new infant seat anyways so I didn't use this set up but would have felt comfortable doing so.

Ok, so that is exactly how I imagined the bottom seat...hah! Maybe I will have to go that route. My oldest one is only 18 months now so our Graco is pretty darn new...that, and we barely used it before putting her into the convertible carseat. I did see a Chaperone on clearance, also, the B-Safe seats are less expensive, but I am not entirely sold on needing a new carseat. Thanks for the pics!

I never even thought to try the bottom! I did the top the same way with the Keyfit 30. I didn't even use a strap.

That looks like it fits in there really nicely. With it strapped down I would be comfortable using that set-up occasionally.
