Maybe.....i havent looked at Bobs yet but if i were to sell my Vista i wonder which Bob? Ds1 has alot of soccer games coming up, so grass, dirt etc. Walks with me and mall crawling. I have a bjcm that i might swap for glux.

Thoughts?

There are essentially only 2 Bobs, right? Swivel wheel (Revolution) and non swivel wheel (sport utility). Revolution is the uber-popular one, for very good reason.

There's the SE or CE Revolution. SE has 16" back tires, 12" front swivel wheel. CE has 12" wheels all around and a swivel wheel. If you aren't going to run with it, and mainly want it for grassy surfaces/outdoor activities the CE would suite your needs. But for some reason I found it a little more expensive when I was looking.

I just got a BOB Revolution SE and LOVE it. I just sold my BJCM today and have a G-Luxe. Love the BOB/Gluxe combo!

Oh, right, I forgot about the CE. I definitely recommend the bigger wheels. Go full-on and get the Bob that made Bob beloved . The smaller wheels don't offer any advantage but aesthetics, right? It doesn't really make the Bob more versatile since the stroller itself is still unusually wide and long, even for an AT.

Just FYI, BOBs are 15% off at REI and Albee Baby this weekend. The sale probably ends tomorrow, but I'm not positive.

Revolution SE 16inch without question.
Get one for 15% off if you can - they are only discounted a few times a year.

:yeahthat:

I think the SE has better resale value too, at least on my CL.

I didn't get one yet or even have a chance to check them out in person yet BUT after pushing the Vista across a beach to get to DS1's soccer game today......air tires is a MUST. Too bad I just left the IL's, 5+ hours away and they have my '03 MBUS!

I think the Vista has to go.....i'll stop at REI this week.

If you have an Amazon baby registry, add it and put estimated due date some time in the next 30 days. Then add item to your cart from registry and you should get 10% off. If you don't have a registry it takes 10 days before you can get the 10% off completion code. Can only get one completion deal every 8 months IIRC.

Thinking about doing this on a stroller strides duallie which comes out to 519.44 after completion code. Anyone know if the stroller strides version is the CE or SE? And if I can tell if it is a current model? With free returns I guess I could just take the plunge. DH needs convincing. I'm also not sure I need it so much as want it! Would you put a 4.5 year old in it? Is the seat back high enough? Any advice appreciated!

The registry takes 14 days to activate, I believe. I'm not sure how long the Amazon price will last or if they will soon sell out. But IIRC, they are the same price at Albee Baby until the 19th, so that *probably* goes for other retailers too.
The stroller strides version is the SE. Amazon definitely is selling the current 2011 model. Basically the difference between it and the regular Revolution is that the SS model is red (my fave!), has an SS logo on the canopy, and comes with a parent console and the SS fitness kit.

Thanks! I have the stroller strides in a single, just wasn't sure about the double.

Yes, you are probably right about the 14 days. I was going from memory. If you have an existing registry, like I do, you can just change the due date and you are good to go right now! Do you think $519.44 is a price I should jump on?
