Favorite toys for 4 and 6 year old boys?

Good for both ages: magnatiles, Morphibian remote control car, Hot Wheels tracks, magnet set, perler beads. Although DS (6) mostly plays with...Legos (surprise!)

My 8 year old has played with his unit blocks every day from age four through now.

Beyblades are also a hit.

My boys are 4 and 6. Well, my oldest will be 7 soon.

OK I have no clue what the name of this is, but here are a couple of pictures of it. DH bought it from a gift shop at a planetarium and they built it using a Sprite can. DS LOVES this thing. He named it "Poker". We asked him why he named him that and he said because the arms are long and can poke you if your'e not careful..lol. The arms are actually like bendy straws.

He always asks to bring it to school for show and tell but we never let him because it's a bit delicate. There is an on/off switch (it runs on a battery) and the thing walks. It's actually really cute to watch this thing wobble around.

He says Poker needs a brother, so we have to look for some other type of robot toy for him to build.

Ds1 loves his Football Guys from Kaskey Kids. He sets up the teams and pretends play football. (then he does it himself and it is so cute!).
