Thanks!! I love these bags -- this is a great deal!
Great deal, thanks! I wanted to buy some for my Mom. I think I will get the Sesame Street set for us and give her the ones that I have already!

I think it's a great deal considering the free shipping. This one is a better deal and it wasn't on sale last night. They must have put it on sale today.

It's on sale for $24.95 from $39.99...so it would be about $12.50 for 5 bags.

Ha! I am so with you. I have five LE's bags not including the one I have stashed for a gift I will probably never give and end up keeping. Plus a set of Envirosax bags. Plus I've given bags to just about everyone I know. And I still want more.

I've looked at these for a while and want them to replace the other bags I have (usually free ones given out at festivals and such, or ones with too short handles).
I've seen the pictures, but those of you that have them, do they fit over your shoulder comfortably? Does anyone find that they're too large? TIA!

The straps are definitely long enough to fit over my shoulder. I don't think they are too large--they're a good size, enough to fit a good amount of groceries or other stuff but not so huge that they're cumbersome. They are also light and quite thin (but strong), so they fold up really nicely.

I ordered way more than I should!
:yeahthat: Thank you so much for the code, Chessie!
I got x-mas gifts for my two cousins and my sister taken care of! And I also got some for myself (which was really the "way more than I should have" part. But DH can give them to _me_ for x-mas!)
The only problem is that I decided to "sleep on it" overnight to decide if I should really get it all. And by this morning some of the items were sold out. But I made due and found others!
:bighand:
Oh yes, and we got these for my stepmom one year, and she always has one in her purse. I got to try it out, and it fits over my shoulder comfortably (straps are long enough to pick the bag up and put it up on the same shoulder all with only one hand) without being too long.

Their green grocery/solid color bags have a longer shoulder strap.

Their slingsax are messenger style and adjustable... I've been wanting these for a while!

Hmmm. Should have opened this thread sooner. Didn't know what Envirosax were. Very cute! No one mentioned these as possible teacher gifts. What do you think?

Thanks for this info! Just ordered 3-bag DIY pouches in DD's and DIL's favorite colors/designs. The total price was so good that I could definitely justify including a bag for myself, too! I know these will be much-appreciated Christmas gifts.

What do you all use these for? They seem too pretty to schlep groceries in. That messenger style is so cute! I wonder if it would be a pain to have to tie it all the time, though.

I think that's a great idea. I was going to use some to 'wrap' Christmas presents in. Maybe now I need to order more......

I use mine all the time, but mostly for clothing or other shopping. I have used them for groceries when they are all I have with me. I have sturdier ones for groceries. I wash mine and they've held up so well I can't justify buying any more even with the killer deal.

Same here. Whenever I shop in-store, I tell them that I don't need a bag - I loving whipping one out of my purse for clothes, books, (small) toys - anything that fits!

i will just tie mine once and leave it... Maybe DH would resize it, but I doubt it. :)
I like to use them when walking around with the family, to stuff kid's coats in, when they get too hot. Or the farmer's market, traveling on planes etc, to shove everything in quickly when getting off... Our stuff seems to grow, after careful packing. I like to have one in the stroller too, it's easy to hang purchases, leaving more room in the basket area.

Ooh, thanks! Those are great ideas and not ones I'd thought of! (I was planning on using the Sesame Street ones for groceries and the travel ones for non-groceries/all other stores.) I hadn't thought of all the other great uses nor of taking one with us on the airplane! That's a great idea!

I use mine for groceries all the time. We always grab them if we need a bag for anything. DDs have also used them as trick or treat bags before.

Just got my order. Has any one had trouble with this company in the past? I ordered 2 of the organic cotton bags. Received one that I ordered and a second, lesser quality bag that I did not order. I was not informed of the substitution and could not reach anyone by phone though it is still working hours. I sent an email and will see what they have to say.

I'm still waiting for my order (placed on 10/27) and was also unable to reach them by phone today. No, I really don't want to leave a call-back number for their CS... If I'm unsuccessful again tomorrow, I'll also try sending an e-mail. mominct2004, I hope you receive a response to your inquiry.
I suspect they were a bit overwhelmed by the response to their really good sale.

Did anyone who got their order receive a shipping notice? I was a little nervous about their long disclaimer about shipping to secure locations and not being responsible for lost items. I'd love to at least know when to be watching for my package, but no notice so far.

Mine arrived yesterday and I don't recall receiving a shipping notice.
I LOVE the messenger bags! They lay nicely across the body and have an enormous outer pocket, that I didn't know was there. This image shows the opening and the pocket goes all the way down and to the corners.

For those of you who have received your orders -- where do you live? They apparently ship from CA. I'm in NC so I figure my order may take longer. Also I ordered on the last day of the sale... oh well, hope it arrives soon.

I'm in PA and have NOT yet gotten my order. I got a "your order is complete" email on Nov. 4, but have yet to receive anything. I'm also nervous with that "we aren't responsible if they don't arrive" note. I also checked online and all I can see is that my order is complete. No shipping date or anything. I guess I'll continue to wait nervously... And my sister probably won't get hers for her B-day on Fri. but instead for X-mas like my cousins...

Most of them are x-mas gifts - do you think I should open each one up and check to make sure they're ok, or leave them as is? My fear is if there's something wrong with any of them then I won't be able to deal with it for two months and will Envirosax still take care of it then?

All of mine were perfect. If they'd been gifts, I probably wouldn't have opened them, but you can easily open them, keep the tags on, and refold them. You can get them almost as neatly rolled as they came!

I don't specifically. I just feel like this happened to me with something totally different and maybe I got burned. But honestly it's sort of a vague memory/feel (baby brain?) -- I can't remember what it would have been, but nothing related to these bags.
They sure are packaged nicely right now! It's good to hear that other people have had them be perfect, so hopefully I won't need to bother unwrapping them.
Sure is a great feeling to have some of the X-mas shopping done already!
