DS came home from trick or treating with quite the loot. Five full-size candy bars in there! Plus tons of little candies. I'm stunned. But he says his favorite thing was. . . . . Wait for it. . . . . .

The little bottles of water. :hysterical:

Older: The glow sticks. He was really into the glow sticks. he is not much of a candy person.

Younger: m&ms. He is a super duper candy fiend.

My older son would have loved water. He was parched when we were heading for home.

Gummy hotdog and the granola bars I packed in my bag. DS2 is allergic to nuts and I was afraid DS1 would get PB on his hands then touch mine and I would then touch DS2 so I didn't let him eat candy until we got home and he completely forgot about the candy when we got home. We'll see if he remembers tomorrow.

Older DD: candy of all kinds, the junkier the better. But her favorite was a small toy goat that she got while trick or treating at the local merchants - this was from our favorite toy store. She also loved a tiny notepad and pen she got at another merchant.

Younger DD: small bag of pirate booty and toy chicken from the same store.

Ugh, the monster sized nerd rope. And yes, they ate it that night (we told them they could eat 5 pieces of candy) and the next day at school, DS1 was so horrible, he got a yellow card and his teacher emailed me to say that she didn't know if it was candy-related, but DS1 was crazy at school on Friday (ToT was Thurs night), not listening, not paying attn, and then when he got the yellow card, he cried hysterically and freaked out. Needless to say, I have always felt that he was sensitive to red dye and this just verified it.

DS3's favorite was any sort of small sucker or chocolate.

DDs liked the M&Ms, and pretty much nothing else. They'd taste things, and say "I don't like this" or even worse "I don't like this, I want YOU to eat it". Yeah, no thanks. I let them pretty much eat what they wanted this morning, and they didn't like: snickers, nerds, Lifesaver lollipop (totally thought they'd like that), blow pop, peanuts M&Ms, Kit Kats (I'm shocked at that one) or pretzels. Pixie sticks were "ok".

DH is going to be one happy daddy. He is a candy fiend.

So far DD is LOVING dumping everything out and sorting through it & putting it into different bags & buckets and stuff (she's 3), but she just had a Reese's peanut butter cup and declared it her favorite. She's a peanut butter girl just like her mommy. :love5:
