It's clear I'm going to have to get a case for this thing. It's too large to fit in a pocket and it's slick. Great for sliding into/out of purses, etc but I also feel like I'll drop it easily.

What's good out there? Ideally I'd love one that has a detachable belt clip - something that would work for clipping to the waistband of pants/skirts for work since at work meetings I'm usually running around without my purse and need both hands to manage both small and large audiences. It'd be nice to be able to remove the belt clip for all other use. Bulky can be OK since I carry it in my (large-ish) purse.

I bought the VZW shell / holster combo. The shell snaps around the back of the phone and then it slides into the holster from the top.

It's "ok" but not knocking my socks off. They HAD the Otterbox Defender for it at my VZW store but I decided to hold off to see what else comes out.

I also bought the Incipio case VZW had - it's very nice but I'm gonna have to return it because I really need a holster.

Seidio has the basic "Surface" case and holster out now - I'm sure they'll come out with the "Active" and "Rugged" options eventually.

Personally I think I'm going to try to run with a basic holster from Seidio if they release one for a naked phone (they usually do) - and just put a Steinheil screen protector on it when they're out - and go mostly commando. :)
