I'm looking for an organizer for my car for the kids' toys, books, etc. Maybe something that hangs from the front seats? I have a new Toyota Sequoia if that makes a difference.

Any recommendations?

I use a Lands End canvas tote.

I had one in my Nissan Armada that hung on the passenger seat in front of ds, he can't reach it to get anything in or out so more often than not it wasn't even used. However it was great at collecting all the dirt/grass from his shoes! I finally took it out about 2 weeks ago bc it was disgusting!

I thought about a stand up tote or container for his stuff but unless it has a lid I won't be able to keep dirt out of it and putting something on the seat will just slide around.

I'm contemplating just a plastic bin for the floor (like a milk crate), i've seen them in bright colors at Target.

I have the 31 brand Large Utility Tote on the floor of the van, between the front seats and I use it to catch all the odds and ends. But I keep my coupon thing in there, and I throw my purse in there, and a few water bottles, just in case. It's a way to keep the van LOOKING tidy! Then I clean it out every so often! I repurposed my Munchkin portage diaper tote to hold a box of kleenex in the main compartment, and then pens, a nail file, hand sanitizer and small notebook for me to quickly access in all the pockets on the outside. It works really well and I almost pitched it!

Good luck, it's a tough job keeping these cars tidy and organized with the little people involved!!

I have a Honda Pilot and my kids are still in car seats. I use a container like this (http://www.target.com/p/Michael-Graves-for-Target-Caddy/-/A-13088174#?lnk=sc_qi_detaillink) from Target. I put in between the two seats so the kids can reach whatever they want, whenever the need it. It holds books, games, tissues, wipes and is easy to move if someone needs to sit in the middle. It has worked out fine. I think I got the idea from someone on this board.

Good luck!
