AHH! We get close to 5-10 calls a day from Rachel, and about the same from 'Katie from Cardholder Services'. The is over 15 calls a day. WHAT!!!!!
Does anyone know how to get off this list? I think it is spambot telemarketing, or something similar? I have tried following the automated message, and pushing 1 to speak with a representative. The person usually hangs up once they find out I have no interest in lowering my credit card debt, and as a result, I receive more calls. Nice.
The funny thing is we do not have credit card debt. Nor have we ever. We have a mortgage and a car payment. That is it. I have no idea how I even got on this list!!!!
Any thoughts on how to get them to stop calling? I am sure I signed up for the Do Not Call Registry. I think there is a loophole in the system, and these calls do not apply to the Registry....thoughts? BTDT?

Is it from your credit card company, or another company?
I successfully got ATT to stop calling us about promotions by telling them if I received one more phone call, I would cancel my account and switch to their competitor.
I currently have an online pharmacy calling every day to get DH to renew meds, that he takes irregularly, so doesn't need a renewal. They won't talk to me, won't listen when I say not to call this number as he's never here to answer them. I now just ignore the phone call, or pick up and hang up immediately. I recognize the phone number.

It's a scam. They don't care about the list because they are not a legitimate company.

:yeahthat: They couldn't care less if they're breaking the law. Someone's got to catch them first. Screen your calls, it's the only way. :(

Ah yes...Rachel calls here about once a week for a spell....then stops....then it starts again. Sometimes it's more frequently. It's also not at all related to any credit card we have. Definitely a scam.
And screening calls doesn't always work because the number changes each time.
Can't stand Rachel from Cardholder Service!

Just a hunch, but have any of you used Wheresmycellphone.com? I use it regularly and don't remember getting so many (3-7) calls per day since before I started using them.
The same thing happened to me. I have my phone through Comcast and they allow you to block up to 12 phone numbers. I just accessed my account online and was able to put in the telemarketers number with success. I still get those occasional phone calls, but it has definitely decreased the number. hth

I started reporting every incident to the FCC through their website, and I don't know if it's a coincidence, but I haven't gotten too many calls from Rachel lately.

This is what has been going on for months for us. She also calls our cell phone. I tried to say okay one time and get their name to file a complaint with the BBB. The girl said they are "credit services" and then I asked where they are located and she said, "we located where we at," and then hung up on me!!

I had trouble getting a reply or number too, they would usually hang up on me (one guy promised to remove my name from the list, very sincere sounding, ha). Nowadays I say that I'm interested but I'm running out the door, is there a number I can call them back at to talk about it at a later time, and that works - then DH files a complaint with the FCC.
