I've posted before about DD's picky eating and our eating struggles. Well, last night, she had a great eating night. She had 5 chicken nuggets, one pancake, and a good deal of pediasure over the course of an hour. I was thrilled! And then her reflux kicked in, and she threw up most of it.

*sigh*

Oh no! I'm sorry. I hate when you feel you've made a breakthrough and then bam! two steps back.
I hope her appetite continues but not the reflux.

Mama, I know this is the BP, but i tend to look at the world through food-allergy glasses. your DD sounds so much like my Lula. She had reflux too, and what we later learned were food allergies. She was an insanely picky eater too. In hindsight because I think many foods triggered painful reactions. Has your DD been tested for food allergies?

My sister used to joke that Lula was like tree moss. She could live on air, water and love. Sounds funny until I realized that Lula didn't eat because eating hurt.

No, I never thought about allergies. She doesn't break out in hives or have shortness of breath so it never occurred to me at all. We did have to go with Similac Sensitive formula for her bc the regular seemed to irritate her stomach, but she drinks tons of milk and even asks for it. Before testing, what signs would I be looking for?
