View Full Version : What car seat for my 17 mo old?
I just discovered that the Marathon's I had saved from my older daughters are expired, so I need to get a new car seat for my youngest. She's outgrowing her baby car seat / carrier & I want something really safe - especially since this will be her everyday seat. I'm tempted to just buy another Marathon because we were really happy with those, but I was wondering if there is something better I should be considering.
Suggestions? She's 17mos, 21lbs & petite.

For a petite kid, I agree - marathon or blvd - the new britax are so much nicer than the old, IMO (I have both). Or the new peg perego convertible, which looks awesome (though no personal experience). http://www.carseatblog.com/16793/peg-perego-primo-viaggio-sip-5-70-convertible-review/

Sounds like another Marathon would be a good choice for you. :)
The Boulevard is the same as the Marathon with some extra headwings/side impact.

Another Britax Blvd lover here, DS is still using his at 4 yo. In fact we had to replace our first Blvd after and accident when DS was 26 months old, and we got another Blvd and never regretted it (our is the previous model, the new ones are supposed to be even better).

another Britax BLVD fan here. I much prefer it to the old generation Britax Marathon. I tried DD2 in both seats and she seemed happier in the BLVD; I think the BLVD has a slightly deeper seat. We also have a Britax Roundabout 55 and like that one a lot too.
