Collect Cell Phones - Fundraiser

Has anyone ever participated in one of these? Basically you collect cell phones from people and then send them in to the company and they pay you for them. Then they refurbish and resell them.

We are trying to raise money to put a security system on the doors at the daycare. These are kids infant to PreK so we would prefer to not sell anything. It's not like the kids can really participate. We are having a garage sale too but this LOOKS like it would be an easy thing to do in addition to that. The daycare is at a pretty large church so maybe the members would donate phones too.
