Letter of recommendation for daycare worker?
Has anyone ever written a letter of recommendation for someone they know? DS's daycare teacher is leaving (long story) and asked me to write her a referral while she's looking for a new job.
I really love her and think she's great. She's even become my new babysitter. I just don't know what to say! Any ideas for some good key phrases?
I've thought of stuff like "she's compassionate," "provides a consistently high level of care," etc. But I'm looking for some other ideas. Thanks!
RE: Letter of recommendation for daycare worker?
Hello!
I have written a letter of recommendation for one of Ellen's former teachers. Some key phrases:
"Highly adept at multi-tasking"
"Excellent time management"
"Respected by her co-workers"
"Remains calm in stressful situations"
"Trustworthy"
Good Luck and let us know if you need additional help!

Here are a few examples off a random daycare site:

All of your ideas and the other poster's suggestions are perfect.
I would also put in a personal example or two of times she has gone above and beyond.
HTH!

I don't know how professional is is to put it in the letter, but I have always remembered and been grateful to a family I babysat for over a number of years who stated, "we entrust her with the most precious things we have...our children." I was touched by that.
And I agree with the other suggestions...
Dependable, trustworthy, compassionate, high level of care provided, and so on.
