Does your Graco Snugride 22 (spec. 2005/2006 models) have an expiration date printed?
Last week I was going through my baby stuff and I noticed that our Graco SnugRide 22 (man. Feb. 2006) doesn't have a date on the actual sticker of when it expires. It's a $80 safari print model from Target (co workers bought it for me and I didn't have the heart to return it) and I initially thought that it said it expired in 5 or 6 years, but now it kind of bothers me that it doesn't actually say when it expires. I don't think I really should be worried as the seat functioned very well 3 yrs. ago.
Has anyone noticed this with their 05 or 06 seats? And should I be concerned?
Baby seat expiration date
I have a hand-me-down Graco SnugRide from my older sister and the expiration date is December 2009. Am I really not supposed to use it after that date, or do I just need to get it rechecked at that date or something? Our baby is due in June, so I imagine that he might be moved up to a Britax by December anyway, but do you think I'll need to buy a new SnugRide if we end up expecting a second child somewhere down the line? My mom thought that maybe the expiration date was just the date after which the company will no longer notify you of product recalls for that model. Does anyone know if that's true?
