Good kids' sunhats?
Ours need to be replaced. I'd like to get some good ones with toggle drawcords (no velcro!!!) for the chin. Lightweight and cool/ventilated with a comfortable fabric (no embellishments), crushable/packable, washable. Needs a good-sized brim for sun protection. I prefer the brim vs the neck flap which is a lot hotter.
We currently have the Sun Protection Zone ones from Costco which are great but my complaints are the velcro for the chin straps, and the silly patches on top that supposedly brighten with exposure to UV rays but in reality just start to peel off and look gross after washing. Plus they are getting too small, I bet I could probably get my kids a small adult hat.

We recently bought hats like that at REI

REI! Ours have lasted for years.

We've been happy with Coolibar, and they fit all of your criteria.

These are awesome. Highly recommend. They have an adjustment in the back and a strap that also adjusts under the chin (but you don't have to wear). https://www.amazon.com/Sunday-Aftern.../dp/B00EJA1IPI

I have some sunhats that seem to meet your requirements and they are from Costco (recent purchase). They were about $10 but there is no weird sun patch on the top. They have been really great sunhats for us.

Each of the boys has the Sunday afternoons bucket hat. We love it!

Love this one. https://www.rei.com/product/894177/c...ney-hat-womens
All my kids have one. The draw string makes its plenty small, even for my three year old. Very light weight and wash well in the washing machine. I have white, tan and a couple shades of blue. You might try Sierra trading for other options.

Agree, with REI as our favorite for w/cord. We have some good ones from Gymbo that are just bucket style but stay on very well and have been very, very durable (8+ years and going strong).
