IUD Removal--- When should your period return to normal?!

Any BTDT experience with IUD removal? When did you get your period back after the IUD was removed? And also were you able to become pregnant right away or as soon as you began TTC?!

I'm having trouble finding answers to my questions online.

You should resume normal fertility right away. *Your* normal. So if you had irregular periods or trouble with fertility before that could be the case now. Also, I think that it could take a month or so for the localized Mirena hormones to fade out aif you have a Mirena.

I got my copper one out 1-2 weeks before my Dec. period was due, got my period on time. Nothing in January (spent lots on pg tests!). Then on time in February. Tested + in March. I was surprised it was so fast b/c it took a long time to TTC ds. My periods were always normal with the copper IUD but never before. I don't know what routine they would have settled into if I hadn't gotten pg.

I got my IUD out January 22nd and got my period a few days later. My cycles immediately returned to 26 days and my LMP for this pregnancy was around May 7th.

A few years ago I got my IUD out on January 9th and tested positive for pregnancy on Valentine's day. WOW!! DH and I were both a little surprised!!

The sweet little bugger is a going to be two this October.

I probably had my first period about 2 weeks after having it taken out. We used condoms until then so that I would know when my cycle was and got pregnant the first cycle without birth control (before we were even planning to actively TTC).

I still have not gotten my period back from having my IUD removed, but did have bleeding 2 days after removal for about 3 days. I thought that was just the removal bleeding but may have been my period since it did not come last month *at all*. If I dont have AF by the end of the week I will be taking another pregnancy test.
