Anyone Use Packet 8 VoIP?

I'm on a quest to decrease my bills and the phone bill/internet bill from Verizon is killing us! It seems Vonage and Voicepulse don't have phone numbers in my area and I would love to keep my phone number, so it wouldn't be long distance for my family to call us. The only one I've found so far is Packet 8. Anyone use this company? Do they offer internet service, since I'll probably lose my Verizon DSL if I switch? Any help is appreciated.
